What is Junior & Adult Tennis Development?
At Techtafime Tennis Academy, we believe tennis development is a process — a learning progression, taken step by step, that every student (regardless of age or level) must go through in order to learn or improve their game.
⏳ This process takes time — usually 1 to 2 years. The only way to accelerate development is by spending more time on court: practicing regularly and playing matches.

Guidelines to Register for Lessons

Please call or text 786.400.6947 (Roberto & Maria Weissmann) before signing up to confirm available openings.

If you register without checking availability and no spot is open, a 5% administrative fee will be deducted from your refund.

After Confirming Availability

Download, print, and sign the waiver.

Read carefully all rules and regulations.

Register by clicking on the PayPal button.

In the PayPal form, under “Street Address”, please include both your full address and the name of the participant taking lessons.

TENNIS RACQUET, TENNIS SHOES AND APPAREL REQUIRED
🎾Tennis Racquets:
There are many racquet options on the market. Recreational racquets are not recommended — we highly suggest using professional racquets. We’ll be happy to recommend the best option for you or your child based on size and weight.
Tennis Shoes:
Tennis involves quick stops, sudden accelerations, jumps, and changes of direction. To prevent injuries, proper tennis shoes are a must. These shoes are specially designed to provide ankle support and stability, reducing risks such as ankle rolling and falls.
👉 Please avoid running, walking, or workout shoes during lessons.
Apparel:

Juniors should wear tennis outfits, preferably shorts with pockets for holding balls.

Light colors and cotton fabrics are recommended to stay cool.
-
No jeans or cut-off shorts allowed.
-
A sports cap (full head coverage) is preferred; visors are not recommended.
Other Equipment:
Choosing the right tennis racquets, shoes, bags, and balls is a serious matter.
